The recent announcement of €1.65 ml marks an exciting phase in the regeneration of th Ballaghaderreen Town Centre. This project is targeting a new way for Ballaghaderreen and the entire creative sector in the Western Region. The Town Fair green is the designated location for the project.
The development also incorporates further social dimension with the development of a social innovation and inclusion laboratory integrated with the local Family Resource Centre. An Bealach is also working on the redevelopment of the former ‘Boys school’ located at the top of New Street. This old boy’s school has been derelict for a number of years.
An Bealach is a holistic project involving to the whole of the Town and catchment area approach. It will focus on integrating economic, infrastructural, social, and educational impacts and outcomes. An BEALACH is currently planning to roll out the next phase of this project during 2021
